Following a fine art degree, I trained as a documentary editor, and most of my work has been on documentary style videos and documentary photography, though I have had some experience on short fiction films. Over the last 6 years I have divided my time between video work and photography.

I ran a video production company in Halifax for 15 years, and then worked freelance. A lot of my work was with Attaboy TV, in a variety of roles - editor, assistant director, stills photographer, and project manager. The company produces shows for Discovery and Nat Geo.

Recent clients have included BBC Radio 4 providing publicity stills for websites and in-house marketing, and my photographs have appeared in national magazines. I was most recently commissioned to document the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, and Naked Productions commissioned me to make a 'behind the scenes' video about their latest Radio 4 drama production of Graeae's 'Midwich Cuckoos'.
